Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between Quick Start and Premium?
- Quick Start is a $19.99 one-time purchase for one selected credit account across Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion where that account appears. You can review potential inaccuracies, including multiple late-payment entries on that same account, and use a guided workflow to prepare a dispute letter and access follow-up guidance for that account. Premium is $34.99 per month and offers ongoing self-service tools for multiple accounts, additional dispute and follow-up workflows, document organization, tracking, and reminders.
- How much does Credit Clarity cost?
- Quick Start costs $19.99 once for one account-based workflow. Premium costs $34.99 per month until canceled. Any optional third-party mailing or postage charges will be displayed before you authorize payment or sending. Credit reports available through AnnualCreditReport.com are free.
- Where do I get my credit reports?
- You can request free credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion at www.AnnualCreditReport.com. You may also visit each bureau directly. After obtaining your reports, save or download them and upload the files into Credit Clarity. Identity verification and report retrieval happen on the official provider website, not through Credit Clarity.
- Can I upload all three credit bureau reports?
- Yes, the planned upload workflow allows separate uploads for Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Credit Clarity will guide you through reviewing your uploaded information. Availability of automated analysis depends on supported file formats and the features enabled in your plan.
- Does a free credit report include my credit score?
- Not necessarily. Free credit reports generally show your credit history, while credit scores may be offered separately. You do not need to buy a credit score to review or dispute information in your report.
- What does my $19.99 Quick Start purchase cover?
- It covers one selected account across all three credit bureaus where applicable, including multiple entries you believe may be inaccurate on that same account, plus the associated guided letter and follow-up workflow. It does not cover unlimited separate accounts. You retain access to the documents and follow-up guidance for the purchased account under the applicable account-access terms.
- Can I download or print my dispute letter?
- Yes. After reviewing and approving your generated letter, you can download it as a PDF or print it for your records or mailing.
- Can Credit Clarity send my dispute letter for me?
- Yes! Credit Clarity allows you to review, approve, and send your dispute letters through the platform using available mailing options. You can also download or print your letters if you prefer to mail them yourself. Any applicable mailing fees are displayed before you confirm, and no letters are sent without your authorization.
- Does Credit Clarity submit disputes automatically?
- No. You decide which information to challenge and must review and authorize any dispute letter or sending action. Credit Clarity provides self-service guidance and document tools; it does not guarantee a bureau will accept a particular submission method.
- How do I track my dispute and follow up?
- Quick Start provides an account-specific workflow and follow-up guidance. Premium is designed to provide a broader dashboard for multiple accounts, documents, status updates, and reminders. You should save bureau or furnisher responses and update your records as needed.
- Can I cancel my Premium membership?
- Yes. You can cancel your Premium subscription through your account settings to stop future recurring charges. Cancellation of recurring billing takes effect for the next renewal; access through any already-paid period and refund eligibility are governed by the terms shown at checkout. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next renewal charge.
- Is there a three-business-day cancellation period?
- Where a statutory three-business-day cancellation right applies to your purchase, you may cancel within that period using the cancellation instructions and notice provided at enrollment. This right is separate from stopping future Premium subscription renewals. Your checkout and account screens must clearly display the applicable cancellation deadline and method; this FAQ does not replace the required notice.
- Can Credit Clarity guarantee removal of negative items or a higher score?
- No. Accurate information generally cannot be removed simply because it is negative. Dispute outcomes depend on the facts and the investigations performed by credit reporting agencies and information furnishers. Credit Clarity does not guarantee removals, score increases, or a specific timeline.
